Many Ideas can inspire me to write. Most of the time its the bible, that was what I used to write Hebrew Gospel Fables. Also, movies and shows as well as nature, family, career, and friends can be an influence as well.
Many people use their life experiences to write. I personally use my dreams because they give me great story ideas. Never think your dream is too weird to turn your dream into a common story and give it characters, plots and make it come to life. All of them can be used as inspiration.
Hebrew Gospel Fables
I used to write my own children's stories back when I was active in my old church. I used to involved in the Seventh-Day Adventist church. Hebrew Gospel Fables are a collection of my own written version of the parables and other creative stories using the bible scriptures as morals. My collection of stories are of the bible dealing with faith, taking responsibility, friendships, obeying commandments, and more.
The second inspiration for my Gospel Fables is Aesop's Fables collection. I love Aesop's Fables because it has many stories in it featuring animals and other characters like the wind and plants. It is like fairy tales only it gives moral meaning in the end. So I took the idea and made my own version using the bible. Each story had a lesson in the end.
Them Against Us
It was an idea that I wanted to do that involved foster children dealing with the system in a more sinister way. The movies like "The Witches" and Rosemary's Baby" inspired me to write this novel. It is my first real novel that I decided to turn into a series. Witchcraft is mentioned int he bible many timers and I wanted to use my own creativity mixed with the bible to tell a story.
I also wanted to use children as the main characters of this story and to get readers to develop a relationship with each character and their own story. No idea is too dense and too vague as long as a writer can bring it to life, then it is all about creation to me. I believe that writers should enjoy their own creativity.
