Grayson and Mia Roberts have moved from Clarkstown, Massachusetts. Grayson goes to a new childcare center and meets children who guard an ancient creature in the basement and he meets a black Jewish boy and becomes friends. They both deal with bullies Richard Meed, Don Don, and the rest who die and come back from the dead on a vengeance for revenge. Charlie's grandfather teaches him and Grayson how to hunt for night creatures. Old man Raymond along with a journalist work together to take down Spadella and Dragone of Lagoon Haven.
